| Description |
We have an immediate opening for a LAN Analyst who will have primary responsibilities for Talbots Store Network Infrastructure, with secondary responsibilities for the Corporate Network Infrastructure. This includes technical support services including the installation, maintenance/troubleshooting and upgrade of local area network systems. This position provides support in maintaining service levels, performance and disaster recovery needs for servers.
This position is responsible for the management, research, design and implementation of projects related to store computer and communication systems.

| Requirements |
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the following technologies: IBM, HP, and Dell cash registers and server hardware, Symbol hardware devices (handhelds, Ethernet switches, wireless access points) as well as Symbol MSP experience, Microsoft Windows Workstation and Network Operating Systems and its applications (including, but not limited to Active Directory, Clustering, Certificate Services, IAS, VPN, DNS, WINS, DHCP, RRAS, NLB, DFS) and data / voice cabling experience.
•Strong knowledge in Microsoft Exchange, SMS, SQL, [Enrique Barreto] application programming languages, particularly VBScript, VB.NET, C++, JavaScript. POS experience in Datavantage products is a plus.
•Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and must possess the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Educational requirements are an MCSE and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or 5+ years of related work experience on the technologies listed.
•24-hour on-call support and beeper coverage is required.
